To this day, the Cadillac SRX is still the worst car I’ve ever driven.

Reasons why? I’m not doubting you, but am just curious.

just pretend it’s a Saab...

Well.. I’m pleased to say that my 4Runner does not suffer from any of those except for the lack of power.

About what?
![]() 04/20/2016 at 21:02 |

Its General shittiness, since it's Cadillacs best selling model despite being both the oldest and worst.

No idea how they can possibly pull that off.
I’m honestly just not a huge fan of how Cadillacs drive. Shortly after driving the SRX, I drove an XTS with the 3.6 and it still felt too numb and disconnected.

The word “crossover”
Drive something not based on an Impala or modified Equinox platform, you’ll probably be much surprised.

My grandmother has a 2012 SRX Performance Collection and I really like driving it. To each their own, I suppose.

I’ve been meaning to drive an Escalade for some time. But nothing else really sticks out.

Try a CTS, Car and Driver had to 10 Best List it for a reason.

Ehhh, maybe

Would you care to elaborate on how it felt to drive it?

Can confirm. Coming from a person who loves all of the other Cadillacs of this era, the SRX feels underpowered, cheap, and pretty much awful in every conceivable way.

Yeah, GM throwing them money in some form

Yeah, okay.
Or it's just genuinely a good car? Gee, what a concept.

Those were very popular where I used to live. Local dealer sold sooo many. I drove one, felt like a perfectly normal CUV. Have you not driven any fwd car? Those are terrible! Ive driven probably 80% of cars available in the US. The worst car Ive ever driven is a classic VW Beetle. Yes I know rwd.

Probably the best vehicle to take on a long roadtrip. Quiet interior, smooth ride(thanks MRC), 6.2 liters of LS goodness, soo comfortable. You wont care about the fuel economy, which ist too bad considering the size.

My DD is FWD. In normal driving, I don’t really notice.

Well just wait until the competition gets a major refresh again. It’ll be knocked down again. Same with the Malibu.
I like the CTS. But I don’t think its best in class.

Terribad. I hope the XT5 is better. And by better I mean with a shit ton more visibility. My grandmother has a 2013. I drive it all the time and it’s no surprise that she is constantly curbing her wheels and backing into shit. You cannot see a damn thing out of the car.

If it didn't have a reverse camera, it would be about like backing up a cube Van.

The reverse camera is an absolute must on these cars. But for fuck’s sake the blind spots are still insane. I’ve driven over 15K miles on the car and still every lane change is terror inducing.

As in the worst driving car I've ever driven...

I drove a 95 camry, it was so horrible i rolled it

Like I said, if that is the worst driving car you’ve ever driven, you are a lucky man. I’ve driven dustbuster vans.
